The Maxi 1300 was announced at the 2005 London Boat Show and immediately generated a lot of interest. She is designed to be a performance cruiser suitable for single or short-handed sailing, and of course retaining all the traditional quality and comfort of previous Maxi's. Until now, only computer-generated illustrations have been available, so we are pleased to be able to show you some of the first public snapshots of the new boat taken up in Goteborg, Sweden. These have come to us via Roger and Mike from SD Marine, and as you can see, it was somewhat chilly during their visit in early February with plenty of snow and ice! By the way, the photos also show Pelle Petterson, the father of Maxi yachts and one of Sweden's best known yachtsman.
